Can I just say I absolutely loved the serpent king. I'll try to keep the spoilers to a minimum but I'm almost done with it, current on page 348, and the story is so beautiful. So many parallels to my real life. I wasn't even an avid reader before this, and its my first book in so long, but its moved me more than anything I've been forced to read in school or recommended, like "Animal Farm" (No diss, I believe they are great, but it just never tickled my fancy). I skipped school to binge a majority of the book's content in the library. I found myself relating to Dill on alot of his feelings.
