The War Between The Generals - Inside The Allied Command by David Irving

This book brings forth in detail the friction between the supreme commanders of the ally forces (American, British, Canadian) in the planning and the carrying out of the invasion of Europe in WWII. The book touches on the relationships between the Generals who were assigned and volunteered for one of the greatest military offensives of all times. Some of these commanders loathed one another and had to put there egos aside to better the cause of liberating Western Europe. A very interesting read.
