Typo on this site

You mean like the one in your Clancy post? Sorry, I don't mean this to be mean, but you've got to see the irony.

I was just trying to point it out to the webmaster, as I own a website and always encourage my members to point out any errors, as we are human.

But if you, Jessica, want to play the holier than thou game then I suppose the typo In my Clancy post (which was just a missing letter) is far different than yours:

I suggest you put the children's books down and give an English Grammar book a good once over. You clearly don't have a grasp on proper apostrophe usage.

If you are a webmaster as you said, it seems like you'd have enough on the ball to just send a private message to Darren instead of blasting away with a public post. Perhaps you're just trying to sow discord on competing sites? Just posting it like that is rather like walking into a party at the home of someone you just met and yelling, "Wow, is that a dead dog I smell?" Please...

But if you...want to play the holier than thou game

Oh, lets do...

"Resist the temptation to "flame" others on the list. Remember that these discussions are "public" and meant for constructive exchanges. Treat the others on the list as you would want them to treat you."

http://www.fau.edu/netiquette/net/dis.html

I think that applies. Perhaps if you'd spend more time thinking about others rather than reading books on apostrophe usage you'd know that. But since you started this mess...what was the name of that apostrophe fetish website you run again? Guess' I' missed' it'.

Feel free to list any grammatical errors I've made too. I'm sure it will greatly endear you to everyone else here.

FOOT (as in Foot in YOUR mouth.) :p

My post wasn't meant to be taken as "blasting away". On my site, (which isn't related in any way to literature at all, it's a sports website) I have a board that is for the sole purpose of letting me know of any bugs or errors. How you folks took that as a personal insult is beyond me, I thought I was helping.

No wonder this website is dead...

Goodbye.

Is it located in the General Chat forum? Or could it be called Website Feedback and Suggestions? Like the spot they have for that sort of thing here? Perhaps?

Thats funny, I don't feel dead.

Yowza!!!!

My wife is a school teacher, and she establishes her classroom as the "home court." Reason being that no one gets booed on their home court.

The kids love it. Whenever someone bullies another, she reminds them, "Homecourt!"

Now the students police themselves.

Homecourt!
