More genius from my fingers...

'Odontoglossum Harryanum' was once a thing I eye-balled.
Now it's time has past and Seasons morph,
From clouded sky to sunny rays,
The light in my eyes forever shall never fade.

To rhyme with no reason maketh no foot,
So to boot the crap and eat thyself.
My words said backwards reveal the truth,
Spoon-forced-fed and all uncooth.

The trip to the top is not the tryst.
So forget all leave and love thyself.
My cheese beats two goats from any Ramblesworth,
But to whine all the time and nothing else?

The libertine said "Do it now!"
But to retort the thought lost it's use,
And now grumbles amble beneath the tree
Root and stem, my brothers, sisters...remember them!

And to fit the finale is all but round,
Back-to-front and upside-down.
It has happened and shall finish soon,
So don't forget to leave some room.

The End ain't nigh, the truth was told,
So on it went...and still it goes.
Getting bored, time to stop...
Plank, gank, stank the loaded elf.

Me = The Greatest Of All Time?

Nice, bobbyb...nice. Now, I see why it took you so long to respond.

If anyone else thinks I'm The G.O.A.T., please state your reasons and and offer-up some superlatives that I can frame and place on my mantlepiece.

'Mantlepiece' is a weird word...

Ou Be, this is a beautiful opening passage! It brought tears to me 'eye-balls' - ha ha! Nice one!

My words said backwards reveal the truth,
Spoon-forced-fed and all uncooth.

I love the word play here...it all sounds so flolloppy.

My cheese beats two goats from any Ramblesworth,

Peculiarly poignant. Genius! You sound almost forlorn in your questioning of the use in whining. Great!

A heady mix of a Shakespearian sonnet and a glass of orange juice! I love it!

And to fit the finale is all but round,
Back-to-front and upside-down.
It has happened and shall finish soon,

I think this is nice too, but the final word - 'room', feels a little clinky-clunky. Good!

The End ain't nigh, the truth was told,
So on it went...and still it goes.
Getting bored, time to stop...
Plank, gank, stank the loaded elf.

Ha Ha! 'ELF'! Good one...you do loose it a little at the end though. Try for something a little more mysterious next time. 'Funny at the beginning, sad and strange at the end' is a good formula to follow! Great job!

Me = The Greatest Of All Time?

You're on your way! You're on your way! Keep it up! I look forward to reading more!
