I always found Supertramp's music to be very well written, but the end result somewhat lacking in weight.
So when I heard about this LP I was eager to hear it.
It is all their best material played by the very best Prog luminaries of the time.
What a treat it is, from the first thump of the kick drum to the final crescendo, the renditions collected here are beautifully produced and performed.
If like me you always liked the band but felt their treatment of their own material was a shade weedy, then you're going to love this release.

I am now listening to Ronnie James Dio - This is your Life.
It's tremendous!
