Hi, I'm preparing centerpieces for a book themed wedding. We are using stacks of vintage books, which will be tied together with lace. However, the lace alone is not enough to keep the off-kilter arrangements from shifting during transport and while the catering staff put them out.
I'm looking for a way to hold the books in place together that is non-permanent and will not damage them (so obviously glue is out). I have thought about double sided tape or poster tacky, but am concerned the residue may damage the covers- and we would like to donate the books after the wedding.
Any suggestions?
