I've been putting off Don Quixote for quite some time now, but after reading a lot of new works lately I think it's time to devour another classic
I'm not sure which translation to choose though and I'm looking for suggestions. Ideally I think I would like one that is an "easy read" (i.e. not filled with arcane English). Edith Grossman seems to get a lot of praise for her recent translation and it's the one I'm leaning towards at the moment. Are there others worth considering? How does, for instance, John Rutherfords translation compare?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
