Read that story today. Sad ending for the pilot. :sad:

I thought they didn't know what happened to the pilot.

The article says they've figured out who he was, that he was never heard from again after the plane was lost, and that all they know for sure is that he survived the crash long enough to walk away from the plane. There's really only so many things that can happen to a person lost in a desert.

All the same, great pictures; it's incredible how well things can be preserved, and at least now the family can know what happened.
