I read a book in upper elementary or possible middle school and can't remember the name to save my life- all I can remember is this:
-it's a Young Adult/Juvenile book
-the main character has a best friend named Starr (or some crazy version of)
-she enjoys sitting on a porch swing
-she has a crush on her brother's friend- they play Dungeons and Dragons together
-it was not written by a prominent juvenile fiction writer (ie Judy Blume, Beverly Cleary, etc)
Any ideas..?!
