Hi guys,
I am looking for a series that I use to read in my school days (mid-90s).
It was about two or three teenagers (at least one boy and one girl) enlisted to save animals in one way or another by a "secret" organisation.
This series is not the Adventure series by Willard Price (which, incidentally, was another great series I read as a child).
I can extrapolate on some of the adventures.
In the first book of the series (if I recall correctly) the protagonist (a young boy) is sent to a sandy island in search of komodo dragons.
In another book he is protecting a farming village from a deadly puma.
In yet another he has to survive a trip in the Everglades.
For the life of me I cannot remember any names of the books, characters or author and the library + staff from my school have long been updated.
The books would've probably been written in the early-to-mid nineties.
They may have been Australian fiction (though I don't recall enough to say definitively). I seem to think there were about 7 books in the series (though there might've been more that were unavailable at the library).
Any help in my search would be much appreciated.
