Hi fellow readers! My love of books started at an early age and like most people they were my escape!! :D I must admit I stated off with Enid Blyton :eek: and maybe haven't progressed intellectually much past her! But hey I'm certainly not a snob when it comes to genres although I do tend to have a slight sickly feeling at Mills & Boon!! ;) Looking forward to hearing all about wonderful new stories :)

Nothing wrong with Enid Blyton, I hope - I read so much of the stuff as a kid, it would be a bummer to hear those were bad or dumb books.
 
No they certainly weren't! As a child they were exciting and exotic.... to me :) Now I'm struggling with a book about a dog called "Marley" grabbed it off the shelves in desperation the other day!

I started with Enid Blyton too.
I probably haven't progressed intellectually must past her either (I like children's stories, so much that I write them now).
