Forum shenanigans

I have stayed, lurked anyways. I just need to get back into posting, my typing has gone steeply down hill :)

I can't remember if it was here or another forum, I know several members from here have been at multiple forums with me, but we used to send a troll/gnome? around, there was a game involved that dictated how and who it got mailed to and we sometimes added other stuff too, like a book or snacks to the box. That was fun, I am getting too old and no longer remember the details :rolleyes:
 
I wonder where the doll thing ended up or if he is traveling still. We could make up something similar, I will try not to accidentally mail one of my cats :D
 
Well it started with a doll, he gets mailed with a map & a pic, if I have doll I mark my location on map and add 1 pic of doll with me, in my fave spot or at a local site (you chose) or you can opt out of pic all together. But the doll, map & pics go from place to place and we would keep track in a thread, scan the pics onto it etc. like I said sometimes we added candy or a book, like I got my turn from a Brit so I had my first hobnobs :)
 
The doll should be nonbreakable (the odder the better) and map was just a generic world map. You didn't have to put directions to your house or anything :) Anything besides doll, map, pics in the box is a gift to recipient.

And only 1 or 2 people got to see your address, the person that sends you the box and if you chose the person you send the box too. It was small like a shoe box size.

I may have an ET doll but I must run for now. Hiho, hiho, it's off to work I go. Today's treat, an antisocial Akita mix :cool:

I like shenanigans. Sparky seems to be a seasoned veteran. I motion that he starts some shenanigans here.

Another reason why I read books and don't have cable.....or even a t.v.
