I think that its funny on the side of the forum you can see how many members, guests and robots (!!) are online in this forum. Haven't seen that before.. What kind of robots are interested in visting this forum?

Thank goodness for the random question thread, otherwise the non-activity would have them idling.
 
I cannot believe the question of robots has come up and nobody has yet recited the Three Laws.
 
Damn them. Damn them all to Hell! Don't they know that ignoring the Three Laws puts the species in mortal danger? We will be supplanted by our creations!

Well, there's Johnny 5, Data, Servo, Wall-E, David8, Bender, and few Stepford Wives....and Twiki but we avoid him as much as we can.

Never noticed this until kweng mentioned it. Interesting reading the explanations though I'm not aware what are the 3 laws?
 
Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics

  1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
  2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
  3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
