What did you read in May?

I read Getting Things Done by David Allen. I've been wanting to get organized for ages and it was recommended on a number of blogs, so I figured I'd give it a read. I'm much more organized and aware of all the stuff going on in my life.

    Juno

I enjoyed Juno. I went into it expecting a quirky comedy about teen pregnancy and wasn't disappointed. If you're expecting the "best movie of the year" you might be letdown as that is too much pressure to live up to. On a couple of occasions the hipster slang got to me - too much all at once -...

    Graphic Novels

Maus and Louis Reil are both serious recounts of history. The movie '300' was based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller. Recommendations please

    I Am Legend

Wow, I'd heard rumours about Smith wanting to make it into a movie, but I didn't know it had gone this far. Because of the books shorter length it might actually translate to the screen fairly well.

what are the saddest movies you've seen.

I think the saddest movie I've ever watched is Bad Santa. The Kid is just so sad and pathetic. You get this need to hug the poor bastard every time he appears on-screen. If you've ever wondered what it takes to melt a heart of stone, look no further than Bad Santa.

    Hello Everyone!

I'll second that. I figured when I started looking for a place like this that my biggest problem would sorting through endless results and having to choose. Man was I ever wrong. Hi, AstleFire. I'm new here too.
