I highly recommend this book to all scifi fans, the author had me hooked from beginning to end ! Can't wait for more writings from this talented author.
You basically have to join Amazon KDP then give it away for free to get up the rankings, find an audience, get reviews and most importantly, get the 'others viewed / bought' mentions.

The hardest & most time-consuming part of self publishing is finding an audience and getting that initial push. It takes more time than writing. That's where you miss a publisher.
Once Amazon get around to setting it up, I'm going to give the option to buy my ebook at 40% if you buy the print. I just can't bring myself to give it away although that feels like the morally correct thing to do.
You buy the content. The media should be irrelevant.
Maybe I'll take a stance...
