I, for once, found it to be incredibly boring. As Stewart mentioned, nothing happens... it just drags and drags forever. I will probably try to read another of Woolf's books, but I was definitely not impressed with Mrs Dalloway.

I've been dating for almost 10 years and live with my man for almost three. My boyfriends reads less than a book a year (he prefers magazines). That never was a problem, there are many other aspects of his personality that are fascinating. If I wann talk about books, I just talk with my parents...
Xmas shopping:
Slaughterhouse-5 - Kurt Vonnegut
I married a communist - Philip Roth
Blood Meridian - Cormac McCarty
Gran Serton: Veredas - João Guimarães Rosa

It's difficult for me to read without any kind of noise around me. Usually I have music playing low. I have no problem with people talking, cat making noise, whatever (unless the noise is very loud).
The only problem is when my boyfriend decides to sing...

Olha! Uma portuguesa!
Hey, welcome to this forum. You are definitely not the only one thinking reading is an endangered activity. ;)
Hope you like it around here. Folks are really nice and willing to help.
Diverte-te! E lê muito!

The train or the bus. I usually don't read at home, I read while I'm going to and coming from work.
So basically I end up with: a book + a public transport.
(At home, if it's possible: bed + bedside lamp + music. But usually I end up falling asleep, so transports are definitely the best...
1) One Book that made you read it More Than Once:
"The portrait of Dorian Gray" - Oscar Wilde
2) One book you would want on a desert island:
An Encyclopedia (and a notebook)
3) One book that made you laugh:
"Catch-22" - Joseph Heller (I'm reading it right now)
4) One book that made...
12? Not bad....
I have around 20 waiting for me... after I promised I would only buy new books when I had only 2 or 3 to read... :D

PS - Obviously I'm not counting the books my parents are gonna lend me... otherwise...
