    Dark Psychological Thriller

I've just about to read this, I was looking for something different and intrigued by your appraisal above and the fact it wasn't readily available (thanks ebay!). Couldn't find much about it on the tinterweb either. ooo can't wait to get stuck in!

    Very short stories.

I agree totally, despite all the other entries on the web-page the original Hemmingway 'story' is the most thought provoking, in my opinion anyway. here's my contribution... Gun pointed at head. Bang. Dead. depressing huh!

    Dan Brown: Digital Fortress

I first read 'The da vinci code' a few years back on holiday and finished it in a few days, i thought it was great at the time. Since then I've read Angel's and Demons and Deception Point. Both were particularly OTT, find a clue to find a clue to find a clue to a farcical ending. I've had my...

apparently he was offered a part in the remake of the Wicker Man, thankfully he declined. Some films just don't need hollywoodising (if that's a word).

    Books you didn't finish

Haunted : Chuck Palahniuk I like to think I've got a pretty open mind and am not too easily shocked. This book was just plain gross. Gave up after about 3 chapters, not a pleasant read, just shock-fest. more Chuck yee-uk than Chuck Palahniuk.

Sci-fi without the little green men...

I've always been a big reader, but have never dabbled in the sci-fi genre. The world of space stories, aliens and ray-guns never really appealed. However, recently I have been sucked in and realised there is more to sci-fi than little green men. My journey has taken me to... The Drought &...
