Name some book that boys would like to read.

I I think Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl series would be good. Neil Gaiman's Graveyard Book is also reputed to be very good.

    Dan Brown: The Lost Symbol

This is probably going to be a "I borrowed it from a friend" book. I don't think Dan Brown's writing is that spectacular; he just chooses controversial topics.

    Charles Dickens: A Christmas Carol

I've heard of a couple of stories: A Christmas Tree, The Poor Relation's Story, Nobody's Story...but I don't remember reading them.

which poem/poems left a permanent impression on you?

I'm reading poems by Gabriel Okara right now, and I love them. I read his poem 'Once Upon a Time' in school, and I love his voice and the way he expresses himself.

    books on the holocaust

You can try Schindler's List by Thomas Keneally. I haven't got around to reading it (though it's been on my shelf for a while), but I think it'll be a good read.

    A Bestseller You Hated

What books do you hate, which are otherwise bestselling and often raved about? Right now, I'd say the Twilight series (no offence fans). I'm reading the books for the sole purpose of finishing the series.

    Twilight

The concept is good, but the writing is so juvenile. I'm Meyer's target group and I got pretty irritated after reading Twilight. The book isn't worth all the hype.

    Book recommendations for a preteen?

I've heard that Terry Pratchett's "Johnny Maxwell" series makes good reading for preteens. As for me, I loved Roald Dahl books.

    What College Students are Reading

Hey, that's not fair!! It's not just college students reading Rowling, every booklist has Beedle on top( or near). Anyway, you can't judge an entire generation based on a survey of a thousand-odd people (if that many are included in the survey, that is). That's not even representative of the...
