Mark Z. Danielewski: House Of Leaves

Yeah, I agree. The guy got very annoying. Especially when he started rambling on for several pages. All I wanted to know about was the house. I suppose he added a lot to the story as these sidetracks built up the tension for when you finally got back into the house. Overall, I really enjoyed...

    Richard Matheson: I Am Legend

I read it ages ago and loved it. I only read it because I was going through a sf phase and it was No2 in the sf masterworks series. It was definitely unlike anythin I had ever read before. I loved all the science behind why garlic, and why crosses and the ending was great. Didn't see it...

    Songs for falling in love

Moondance - Michael Bublé :D Among about a billion others I always think of that one first, but there are a lot for me, almost every Sinatra song, a lot of Billy Joel songs and a lot, a lot, of country music songs.

    The Notebook

I've read the book and really enjoyed it. I'd be willing to tag along the line "happiest book ever" to it because after reading it you just want to smile and feel happy. The story is about an old man in an old man's home, who sits with a strange woman every day, open his notebook and tells...

    James Herbert

I've read The Fog. That was yucky. Not scary, just disturbing. Especially that one scene........ouchie!!! I've also read Haunted but I was very disappointed by that. Didn't scare me, or entertain me one bit.

    Bruce Campbell Fans?

I heard about the movie a long time ago, but I haven't seen ti out in cinemas. Is it out on DVD yet? I really want to see it. Not only due to the cult legend Bruce Campbell, but because it sounded pretty darn wacky.

    Classics that disappoint

A Clockwork Orange. Not really a classic classic, but enough people know of it. I didn't like it, at the end I was thinking, 'what was the point in that?'

    28 days later

I like it. I love the beginning, but it did drag a bit in the middle. I also noticed influences from certain books, specifically "The Day of the Triffids". Good movie, wouldn't put it that high on my list though. Perhaps top 100.

It's all a matter of perspective

Makes no difference to me. I actually rather enjoy the second perspective, drags you into the book more.

How many authors have you read?

I read a lot when I was a kid, but during high school I just stopped for some unknown reason. I came back to books about 2 years ago, when I started college. I reckon number of authors must be about 40 (going from my reviews and adding a few for my pre-review days).

    Fav Poets

I haven't read anything else by Roy Croft except this one: http://daryldulong.com/love.php So I don't know if he is that good. But that one poem means a lot to me.

    Fav Poets

Shakespeare, Pablo Neruda, Ogden Nash, Alfred Noyes, William Blake and Edgar Allan Poe. And, of course, Roy Croft, for his love poem. :D

I should do more research before saying anything. But then, that's what Wabbits are for. :D

    Discussion

If people want to discuss religion and/or politics, go right ahead. Nobody is stopping you as far as I can see. I enjoy discussing religion, what I don't enjoy are the people who take it very seriously, get really upset and then resort to insults and bad language. No need for any of that.
