I record Casablanca every time it comes on but can't make it past the first 15 minutes.

There are 3 Monk books out in mass market paperback. I recently read the 3rd one and it was my favorite. Monk was at his most "Monkish" and Sharona and Natalie are both in it. I can't remember the author's name but a search on Amazon would bring it up.

I listened to the audio version of Main Street recently and really liked it. I had read the book in high school many years ago and had always wanted to read it again so downloaded the audio.

Haven't got it yet but will probably get The Bucket List this week.

Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult was that way. I loved the book until the end, which was completely unexpected with issues being unresolved. It's the only one of her books I've read so now I don't know whether to read another one or not.

I love Monk! I have 3 of the seasons on DVD. Natalie, Monk's assistant, is very different from Sharona but I think they're both good. I didn't watch the show until Natalie was on and didn't really like Sharona at first but I like her now.

Didn't they recently change the name to TruTV? I think they completely changed their format. BTW, Nancy hasn't been on CourtTV in several years. She left after the Scott Peterson trial to her own show on CNN Headline News.

I read the Alison Weir book about Henry VIII and, as far as I know, it was fairly accurate. I haven't read the one about Elizabeth. I think Philippa Gregory and Jean Plaidy write historical fiction.

I have the same problem with the movie "Casablanca." I know it's supposedly one of the greatest movies ever made but I can't get past the first 15 minutes of it. I record it every time it's on because I think maybe I can watch it, but so far I haven't been able to.

I got Pillars of the Earth and a book about the story of Anastasia, which I can't remember the name of. I downloaded the audiobook of Pillars of the Earth and am following along in the book as I listen. It has made it much easier to get into.
