    Thomas Holland

I just finished reading Thomas Holland's two books, "Drop of Blood" and "KIA". The stories are not that complicated, but I do like his characters, especially the forensic doctor Kel. I would be interested in reading any new books he may release. I was wondering what others may have to say...

    Bruce Campbell Fans?

I agree, but some how I saw it as an audition for the next Pink Panther movie.

    Richard Powers: The Echo Maker

I was wondering if anyone has any comments on this book. I've just started reading it and I'm having a difficult time getting into it. I'm only up to page 16 and I'm ready to put the book down. If I can get into a story by Chapter 3, it's a goner. Worst yet, this book doesn't give chapter...

    Typos or Mistakes in Books

Typos will bother me if there's too many. I really hate finding improperly hyphened words. Why this happens, I can only guess that it's better to hyphenate the word than adjust the spacing.

    Steve Barry: The Templar Legacy

I liked it. The puzzles in it kept me guessing, plus I liked the characters.

    Allison Brennan

I was searching mysteries at Amazon and ran across a novel called Speak No Evil by Allison Brennan. The synopsis sounds very interesting. Can anyone give me their opinion of this author? I read the synopsis of her other novels and they too sound good.

    Steve Berry

I have read all of Steve Berry's books, except for his new one. I'm waiting for the price to come down. ;) In my opinion, he's very good at wrapping historical facts into fiction. It wasn't until I researched The Third Secret and The Romanov Prophecy that I found out how true his facts are...

    Ghost Rider

I saw the movie. I liked it, but didn't care much for the actress. I thought Cage was cool. I read somewhere he's a big comic book collector, so I would expect he really wanted to do the movie. I would have expected a more suped up motorcyle. Loved the Carpenter jokes. Cage's daredevil...

    Thought-provoking, inspiring books?

The Alchemist got me hooked on Paulo Coelho's other books. I would recommend The Pilgrimage, Fifth Mountain and Zahir.

When you look for a new book . . .

I would have to agree with most of what others have said above (title, synopsis, reader's recommendation, favorite author, etc.). However, I might hold back from buying if I feel the price is high. I'm willing to wait for the price to go down, or look for a used copy instead. If there is a...

    Hello

Hi. I've read all of Sara Paretsky's VI Warshawski books, all of Steve Berry, and some Daniel Silva. Loved Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I find it very hard to distinguish between mysteries and fictions, so forgive me if I list any that don't quite fall into the mystery category. If the...
