    I also like Andrea Bocelli. He has amazing talent. If you like him, and if you haven't already done so, you should try listening to some of Josh Groban's music. He's awesome, too. ;)

    Just finished "The Know-It-All: One Man's Humble Quest to Become the Smartest Person in the World" by A. J. Jacobs. I highly recommend this - it's funny, informative, and inspiring all at the same time!

    The Secret Life of Bees is one of my top ten favorite books ever. The characters are simply unforgettable.

    Book Lights

    Does anyone know of a good brand of book light I could try? I have used two different ones (sorry, don't really remember the brand names), but they either burn out quickly or don't shed enough light on the subject (pun intended). ;)

    Avatars

    I chose the picture on my avatar because here in Georgia, we haven't seen any significant snow in at least 5 years. I'm hoping for some this winter, just 2 or 3 inches would be nice. But if not, at least my avatar can enjoy some of the white stuff.

    What new TV shows are you watching?

    I haven't found many new shows that really tickle my fancy this fall. However, "Bones" on FOX has some good potential.

    Why is reading 'dorky'?

    In high school, I think kids who call other kids "dorky" or "geeks" because they enjoy reading are simply jealous because they know deep down that they should be reading instead of doing stupid stuff teenagers tend to do. Also, the name-callers know that one day, those "dorks" will have another...
