Upcoming Movies?

Anyone have any upcoming or just released movies they are dying to see?
I'm really looking forward to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I've honestly never read the book, but it is at the top of my TBR. People have been pushing it at me for years (prolly why I haven't read it yet). I also really want to see Sin City. I haven't read the Frank Miller books like a lot of people, but it looks good and the Valley Advocate gave it five stars. Lastly, Fever Pitch (latest from Drew Barymore), know it will probably be lame, but as a life long Sox fan I've got to go see it.

david lynch's dune will be re-released next month on dvd with 50 minutes of extra footage. it's going to be a completely different film.

I really don't know why they'd want to remake that movie... The original isn't that old. And they're doing another Pride and Prejudice too, even though the BBC version (the series) was good enough.

Hitchhiker's I want to see, obviously. There are others too, but I've forgotten about them.

i can't wait to see Kingdom of Heaven and War of the Worlds. the cast for KoH is great, and the storyline is right up my alley. WotW- that's a given, GOTTA see that, although i can't stand tom cruise

i can't wait to see Monster-In-Law, either. really, it's just because i think Michael Vartan is hot and i'm glad he's getting a big role in a big film.

really looking forward to batman. i've always had a thing for christian bale. i enjoyed him immensely in reign of fire and american psycho and he was a great laurie although i couldn't tolerate winona ryder's jo.

I just hate it when they take a really good book and make a horrible movie out of it. They did that with Byatt's Possession. Now, how they managed to make such a bad movie out of a fabulous book (and with such a good cast) I completely fail to understand.

I was so sure it would be a good movie that I went straight out and bought it.

Please, please, please read the book before seeing the movie.

I guess what they're doing now is, david lynch has agreed to re-edit the entire film for the special edition dvd, instead of just adding the extra footage to it. that's why they pulled it, to make it a better film.

i will probably wait to see brad and angelina on dvd. it looks like a great action flick, but i am so over brad. now the island, well well well. love ewan macgregor. LOVE HIM(why is there no lust smilie?) and scarlett johansson, my goodness. she might be the one to make me switch teams. oh right, the movie... it looks really interesting. just the tiniest bit matrixy.
the night watch, freaky!! where is it filmed?

I think Night Watch is a Russian film, but I can't be sure. What I do know is that it's the first in a trilogy.

I wholeheartedly agree on the loveliness of Miss Johansson. Oh, yeah, and the film looks okay, too.

Cheers
