theres like 1000 books on my shelf I need to read but most I don't really want to read, like some Childrens Fiction books I've had for a long time, or my mothers old hardcovers
My shelves arent filled yet either, or shelf rather. I have a 4 ft by 12 ft book shelf that has one small section left. I hope to fill it by December this year
Sounds like England has alot of Bookstores. Canada has Indigo, Chapters, Coles, and The Book Stops as its only big stores. Theres a few Coles and a Chapters in Newfoundland
I ahve to say, I'm a BIG fan of Meg Cabot. She writes kinda Sci-Fi books. She did the Princess Diaries series, but also the Mediator series which i loved. Any other people like her?
Have you ever read a book so horrible or boring that you stopped reading it? I tell you, this isn't a wise idea. On my first RA Salvatore book "Ascendance" I thought the book to be REALLY boring. I put the book down for about a year when I told myself I should probably just finish it. Afyter the...
I did this in school, for Languge Arts. I thought it was horrible. I'd be at home, just starting something like Gary Paulsen's "Hatchet" and the next day we'd start a novel in LA. I can't stand it, so I read all my LA novels ahead of time and read my book during the LA Classes.
It suprises me I say this, but I've finished reading most of the book "The Demon Awakens" by RA Salvatore. Some of the training the Touel'Alfar but on young Elbryan really changed my perspective on life. Real inspirational stuff.
"Shadowgate"- Emily Rodda
"Isle of the Dead"- Emily Rodda
"The Icewind Dale Trilogy"- RA Salvatore
"Doryman"- Maura Hanrahan
"Goddess of Yesterday"- Caroline Cooney
I don't really care, as I tend to remember books by "Idea Jumps" anyway. Most of Salvatore's books have 4 or 5 different characters that don't meet until nearly the end, and each "Idea" takes a chapte, so I suppose I'd see those diamonds as chapters, if you get what I'm saying.
I'm a pretty big fan of Historic-Fiction, although I've only read a few books of the genre, each of with has taken place in Newfoundland. Alot of Historic Fiction has been written about Newfoundland.
The big place with the smell of coffee. Personally, I can't stand second hand books, unless they're in New-Bought Condition. If I damage a book, I'll buya nother copy. Sorta like a Pet peeve. So, I go to Chapters, a pretty huge bookstore, each of which has a Starbucks. I usually can't get top...
lol, I guess the worlds different everywhere.
Not to get Philosophical on you guys, but isn't the word normal just opinionistic? I mean I may consider getting up 9 AM every morning (Example) and you may consider taht weird opposed to your 7 AM, because to you 7 AM is normal. To me 9 AM is....
