What's the WORST book you ever read?

Tom Clancy I abseloutley despise any book by Tom Tlancy (i don't have anything agaist him, im sure he is a generally nice chap :) ). It is my personal opinion that his books are as repetitive in there storylines as James Bond movies (the ones I have read anyway), I think that most of the books...

Zaphod's Anatomical Layout I thought the movie was good, authough it lost the plot at points. I have one complaint about the movie- Zaphod Beeblebrox. In the books i'm pretty sure he had two heads and three arms at the same time if you know what I mean. (how is he meant to "bash his heads...

    Frank Herbert: Dune

Dune I thought The Dune Trilogy was a great read, I do not think that it is cold I agree with Carlos, if you had been through what paul had, you'd be a bit mean. I especially loved the Sand-worms, it is an intresting concept and painted a clear image of the colossal beast in my mind. As for the...

The slow lingering death of fantasy writing.

Fantasy I agree that some series have too many volumes, such as The Wheel Of Time series, but fantasy is my favorite genre and there are some genius writers out there such as Raymond E. Feist, Margaret Weis and Stephen Lawhead. I think that a lot of fantasy has more and more fallen into J.R.R...
