Surprise surprise my library actually has Benighted so its on hold for me. It will be a nice break from reading The Dark Tower series.

Still can't post links but if you do a search for it on youtube or google you are bound to find a trailer. Already looks like they have butchered the book pretty well. Only good thing I can so far is at least the werewolves turn into wolves and not bipedal hairless rats like in Underworld.

Thirded. After having read Rice's whinny bitchy vampire books reading Lumelys was a nice change of pace. His don't screw around :). The last couple books are kind of weak but the first 10 are great.

The Anita Blake books fit but they aren't exactly great literature. They aren't bad if you like to just read some entertaining trash every now and again atleast up to around book 7 or 8 where the series turns into hardcore porn.

I'm just starting 'A Feast for Crows' and I fear what I might do when I finish it. Not sure I can handle having to wait for the next book.
