It was an okay season finale. For a Dexter season finale, alot seemed to be lacking. The previous episode was very good. I'm acutally glad that Julia Stiles is leaving the show. dexter morgan solo-badass.
Summary: Harry Bosch is a retired cop who lives in LA. This is the 9th novel and counting. Bosch decides to be bosch,as in he digs up old as crap cases that nobody cares about anymore.
"Everybody counts,or nobody counts."
So Bosch starts to dig deep into a case about an armed robbery on a...
So many Red Dragon haters. I thought it was a good horror/mystery novel, even though Hannibal wasn't in it that much,Francis Dolarhyde made up for him IMO.
Red Dragon is like my 11th or 12th favorite book of all time.
Rowling was beating King? And I agree with the others, most of the writers on this list are crap. I use to be a fan of JP,but not anymore. I've never liked Sparks or Rowling.
Eh, I'm kind of skeptical about reading Patterson's other works, since I was a huge fan of the Alex Cross novels since I was 13(my first mystery novels, and I was surprised with all the gore and language). His books seem to depreciate with each sequel.
I personally like King. He written some of my favorite books(Namely Salem's Lot,Pet Sematary, and Christine). Koontz is more of a thriller writer; if anything else.
King is a horror author who loves to create in-depth characters, and he's really good at it. Although I wouldn't say everything...
Yes,that's the first.
I don't know about you,but most of the reviews I've seen on Koontz's book review sites,is a bunch of King fanatics, bashing him on how he's not like King. But of course, most hardcore King fanatics have not read anything from any other authors.
My fav Koontz novel is Intensity. It's not called Intensity for the hell of it,but it really is the most intense novel I've ever read. I felt my hands practically shaking with anticipation and suspense.
Edgler Foreman Vess has to be my favorite villain of all time. He's like Hannibal Lecter...
Large books differ from person to person. I consider a 300 paged book decent sized, but when a book hits the 600's it seems way long for me,and I have to read only that one book instead of the two I usually read.
Very sad . I thought Bosch would feel some closure for completing parto f his mission.
I'd like to read The Scarecrow, but I'm afraid it might give away spoilers from the Harry Bosch series. I'll read Lost light as soon as my brother gets done with it.
I do not have The Neon Rain available anywhere and my parents won't order it off the net, although I do have access to the rest of the series. Am I missing anything if I skip over The Neon Rain?
