I never was a huge fantasy lover,and I hardly ever like heavy descriptions. But I can understand why some people like it :).

I give up on The Dark Tower series. The first half of the book was very good,but the second half is just descriptions of the land and the history of it. It's too much like a Tolkien novel sadly :(. Rating: :stars2:

I'm 16,and really started to read when I was 13(Thanks James Patterson,even though you suck now.) There is only 7 people at my school that I know love to read. It's sad :(.

It'd be cool to have more female badasses in cinema. The only two I've seen with badass leads are the Alien movies and Kill Bill.

Desperation by Stephen King. Very weird novel. The cop spat out buckets of blood in his car,and was bleeding from every orifice of his body.

Harry Dresden does that all the time. It's like a badass 90's or 80's movie.

I really think it's ridiculous. I have to wait a huge amount of time for new books to come into the library. The last time i checked out a book from the library that is fairly new, I had to wait 2 months. Most of the new books are way too high. Just about 40 bucks for hardcovers.

**** yeah! I also agree with you about James Patterson. The beginning of the Cross series is good,but it has deteriorated over time. I'm still a fan though,because Patterson got me involved in mystery,so it's a hard bond to break :flowers:.

The Dresden Files. Very badass series. It's so badass,even the unicorns are blood-thirsty animals. It's about a wizard who investigates paranormal activity dealing with ghosts,vampires,other wizards,werewolves, etc. in modern day Chicago.
