The Sailor who Fell from Grace with the Sea by Yukio Mishima It was part of the swap recommended to me by Libra. The format of the book reminds me of Cormac McCarthy's The Road. It will be probably fly by quick. Thanks Libra.

MLK quotes you are unlikely to hear on Fox News or Glenn Beck's show today

What are you listening to Right now?

I might be in the minority but every time that song came on the radio I did my little head dance like Chris Kattan does to "What is love, baby don't hurt me".

The Fall by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan It wasn't as good as the Strain. The action and tension slows down a bit. The character development is better here. There are a lot of unanswer questions so the third book will hopefully cover all these topics and it should be a nice ending...

Connelly is a genuis. I think the Poet is one of my favorite books of all time. I agree the Narrows was a little disappointing. Even though it wasn't his best, I believe his work is still ten times better than most authors' best books. Have you read any of his other books.

    Personal Reading Record

It depends I guess. If I like the book then I make it a prority to read it wheather I have time or not so I'll stay up late if I have to whenever I'm done with things that needs to be taken care of. When the book isn't that good I'll only read it when I have free time.

    Dream

Okay so I've been reading The Strain and The Fall the last week and a half. I usually read for about an hour before turning the lights off and calling it a night. On a few occasions I've been having dream or nightmare about killing vampires and such. It's very odd but don't know how that is...

A-Team - Great action and a lot better than I thought. A great popcorn flick for sure. Rampage was okay in it. 8/10 Salt - Great action but the story is a little flat and very predictable. 7/10 Step Up 3 - Very predictable but the dancing was cool. 5/10

The Strain by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan. I love this book. The back and forth and characters were all great. It was truly a page turner. :stars5:

    Hi

welcome to BAR. What genre/authors do you like to read?
  19. Tai_Mai_Shu

Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan: The Strain

I read 300 pages the last two days and have to say this book is great. I love the build up and I love how the characters and chapters come together and it doesn't drag. I can't wait to finish the last 100 pages.
