    Where Did Everyone Go?

Well I'm poking my head around the door again. May even stay for a little while. I'm a bit of a drifter by nature anyway... I didn't know anything about Irene, Watercrystal , Bobby Burns etc etc. Such Drama! Quite different to my usual cyber-haunt- more like a communal soap opera!

What do you pay for gas?

I use optimax on my car because it is 98 octane , being twin turbo charged, the lesser octane fuel really does take a hit to the performance AND fuel economy (although this won't neccassarily be the case with alot of cars, although I'm sure Shell and BP would like you to THINK this is the case!)...

why did you join the book forum?

I have a strong interest in cars (more an obsession- seeing as I design and develop them) and Sci Fi. However I also like to read and write- I'm working on a novel, but it's taking time, because I'm so busy. I found the traditional forums dedicated to Cars were nice, and alot of them had similar...

    What country are you?

Hi Again folks *waves* Been a little while. What a wonderful thread. Apparently I'm Egypt as well. I like to think I'm in touch with myself though and not really in denial. These days my life DOES seem fairly typical on the surface- until you dig deeper.......

    America being ridiculous...again

When I was younger I used to think that the opposite of War was Peace. As I grew older I came to realise that the opposite of war is infact Opression....

    Georgian Cottage In A Village...

Thanks CajunMama! I pop my head 'around the door' from time to time! This place has a nice demeanor and some nice people compared to some other forums I frequent!

    If you don't smile ..

I like cats and thinks they're adoreable and I like Dogs too. Prefer the company of alot of animals to most humans. Prefer the company of machines to most humans too. Humans, in general, are stupid, judgemental, selfish, superficial, arrogant, untrustworthy and disloyal. And that's their...

    Georgian Cottage In A Village...

Looks like I'm going ahead with this. The sign that's outside that property now reads "Sold Subject To contract". I've driven past dozens of times! You'll also see that the agents have taken it off their lists so the link no longer works. It would be nice to make the move before Christmas but...

    Georgian Cottage In A Village...

Novella, I wouldn't be interested in moving anywhere else in the EU. I'm tied to the car industry for starters, and that leaves Germany, where you're not allowed to wash your cars for environmental reasons and taxes are super super high if you're single. The Scandinavian countries are similar...

    The Lonely Traveller

------------------------------------------- The Lonely Traveller With no final destination to reach - no more lessons to preach With no place to come home to he just keeps on driving through Many will befriend him this thoughtful, lonely pilgrim But non of them can make him...

    Georgian Cottage In A Village...

Novella it was the insidious conformity I was trying to get away from - all the joined up houses and lack of space. This house is quite unique though.... Cathy C I've lived in America (Midwest) and also lived in Western canada, and know for sure that our prices are much much more expensive...

    Georgian Cottage In A Village...

Good morning Watercrystal- I really should be doing more work now rather then thinking of cottages and far off place! *L* Must be late where you are..... Saw a nice place in Stratford last night, but it was Semi Detatched and and didn't have enough room.....

    Georgian Cottage In A Village...

I have to agree with Billy Oblivion here, we're all pretty much open to different degrees in a forum like this. And I don't believe in therapists, they cost alot. Sometimes it's enough to have a sounding board. Similar in sentiments to what Ou Be Low Hoo said in the other thread but perhaps...

    Georgian Cottage In A Village...

I haven't moved there yet....but you have a point. But that link will become invalid soon anyway.... Anyway, now that case is much clearer and gotten to the bottom of- it's no longer threatening at all. Was someone close....

Freya, possibly, but I have nothing to hide, I'm an open person, and I'm not going to change who I am for fear .

    Georgian Cottage In A Village...

I've really had it with where I live right now. I'm fed up of jealous bitter people, perhaps jealous of success, scratching, vandalising my cars and throwing rubbish into my front garden. I'm fed up of being treated rudely- when all I am is polite. I've been putting my life on hold with...

    Weird email

Awwww, that's a beuatiful picture Watercrystal! Why thank you! Thanks folks, for your sentiments. In terms of the culprit, because there is a high degree of probability that this message is being read by said culprit, all I'll say is that I'm far more advanced in this private...

    Weird email

Okies, this is kind of freaky. New developments. But first of all, thank you phill T for your tips, I have managed to track down the IP address and tracked it down to Finland- Helsinki, funnily enough! Secondly, you know that close good friend- the cop I mentioned from Finland, well she...
