I Started reading this a couple of years ago and finished 'The Fellowship Of The Ring'. But for some reason I didnt carry on with it. So my question is, what would you do? Read 'Fellowship' again or start from 'The Two Towers'?

I finally got round to reading "Lair" and "Domain" and enjoyed them both. But "Domain" was by far the most entertaining. The Rats re almost secondary to the story as Herbert goes into horrific detail of nuclear war. It took me 23 years to get round to it but it was worth the wait.

The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson.There were two more books that followed the Lutzes.They were written by John L Jones (I think),but were obvious cash ins.The last one has the "Evil" following them around the world as they promote the book/film of the original story!!!??

Well I'll give the remake it's due,it does have some shocking moments.I enjoyed it despite my scepticism.

Giving it to Tim Burton was a brave move after his last remake (Planet Of the Apes).I don't think there will be much in the way of middle ground.Kids will either love it or be scared of it.At least we wont have to suffer those bloody awful songs this time.

There are loads of them but beware,Amityville 2:The Posession is woth a watch because its based on the Defeo murders but after that I'd forget it.The third one was originally a 3d release and not much thought was put into the story.Then there were a few sequels that were just lame beyond reason.
