    Lord Of The Rings dilemma

I Started reading this a couple of years ago and finished 'The Fellowship Of The Ring'. But for some reason I didnt carry on with it. So my question is, what would you do? Read 'Fellowship' again or start from 'The Two Towers'?

    Stephen King: The Stand

I have had this book on my shelf for 12 YEARS!!, and was always put off starting it due to the length. I have the uncut version which runs at 1400 pages. However, I started reading it last week and cant put it down. I know this thread is old now but I couldnt resist posting. It is a horror...

    James Herbert

I finally got round to reading "Lair" and "Domain" and enjoyed them both. But "Domain" was by far the most entertaining. The Rats re almost secondary to the story as Herbert goes into horrific detail of nuclear war. It took me 23 years to get round to it but it was worth the wait.

    Tragedy in London

This country has taken on harder bastards than these gutless and inhuman turds responsible for yesterday. Lets all hope they rot in hell.

    Tragedy in London

Across the morning skyline As the city comes to life A rolling sound of thunder Cuts the normal like a knife So many lives now fractured Peoples lives ended today A special kind of 'hero' Plants a bomb and walks away. The horror and the carnage In my eyes on my TV And if there is a...

    Amityville Horror Remake

The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson. There were two more books that followed the Lutzes. They were written by John L Jones (I think),but were obvious cash ins.The last one has the "Evil" following them around the world as they promote the book/film of the original story!!!??

    Amityville Horror Remake

Yes I have been searching for a copy of the original book, but check Amazon out,the prices are outrageous.£70 upwards. Not sure how much in Dollars but its a lot!

    Amityville Horror Remake

Yes It did.But I fear it was another piece of fantasy to make the film more sensational.I would like to have seen the definitive version of alleged events commited to film. I think the truth of the whole thing though is this: 1.Family move into house they can't afford 2.Family start to...

    Amityville Horror Remake

Well I'll give the remake it's due,it does have some shocking moments.I enjoyed it despite my scepticism.

    Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...

Giving it to Tim Burton was a brave move after his last remake (Planet Of the Apes).I don't think there will be much in the way of middle ground.Kids will either love it or be scared of it.At least we wont have to suffer those bloody awful songs this time.

    Amityville Horror Remake

Yes I have and its dreadful. The box set thankfully doesnt cover titles like Amityville- Dollshouse and a few others I cant remember. They are all truly poor.

    Amityville Horror Remake

http://www.amityvillehorror.com/ I stand corrected on the "True story" statement. I think George Lutz should be careful going to court with people over a story being true or not.I honestly dont buy it.Aside from the original murders there have been no reports of supernatural activity...

    Amityville Horror Remake

There are loads of them but beware,Amityville 2:The Posession is woth a watch because its based on the Defeo murders but after that I'd forget it.The third one was originally a 3d release and not much thought was put into the story. Then there were a few sequels that were just lame beyond reason.

    Amityville Horror Remake

Has anyone else see the new AMITYVILLE HORROR movie? I saw it on Friday and thought it was pretty good.I am guessing that it follows the story of the book closer than the original movie, which if I were to have to chose would still be the better of the two. It is of course all fantasy and I...

Flight of the Phoenix remake is supersucky

I thought it could have been worse, but that said it doesn't touch the original. Now THATS a classic! :)

Does a pharmacist have the right?

How long before a catholic pharmacist refuses to supply contraceptives? Its hard to believe that these people are using their profession to push their religious and moral views on the rest of the world.People should boycott them and use non judgemental pharmacists for their needs.See how long...
