Only got to read a couple of books this month, to busy doing other stuff. Hope to catch up on my reading this month.
Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows - J.K. Rowling 3.5/5
The Straw Men - Michael Marshall 3/5
Glad to hear you came through okay. It can get pretty scary.
I don't like tornados either. Went through a couple when I was a kid growing up on the farm. Once when I was 13, part of the roof of our house was ripped off. Lots of cleaning up and repairs, but thankfully, no one was hurt.
Nope, not a "club" where you have to buy anything, I don't like those. This is all free, they don't even sell the books you might like, you are on your own to get them.

Welcome, looks like you enjoy the same type of books as I do. I also agree with you on the paperback - hardcover thing too.
Hope to see you on the boards.
It is called My Side of the Mountain by Jean George.
Here is the description from Amazon:
Every kid thinks about running away at one point or another; few get farther than the end of the block. Young Sam Gribley gets to the end of the block and keeps going--all the way to the Catskill...
Working, getting ready for a good long weekend. Monday is a holiday here in Canada. Going to be lots of BBQing, beer drinking and of course book reading. I may even do some yard work to keep the wife happy.
Hey AquaBlue, hope the book you are reading now is better than your last one. I read...
I would have to agree with Zen. I think I get it from actually getting the book. Especially if it is an older one I want and I finally find it at some used book shop in good condition.
