Looks like we are having a postal strike here in the UK, so I will have to sit this out, otherwise I'd love to take part, it sounds like a lovely idea.
Good luck with it!
Not so much censorship? Thats interesting... Try not to get thrown off the board for typing rude things, but what sorts of things do you see from the BBC that might be censored normally on your shows? More violent? More "saucy"? More bad language?
Thats interesting. Those programmes weren't made by the BBC, they were shown on the commercial channels here in the UK, Channel 4 I think.
I guess the BBC bought the rights to show them in other countries. Shame, the BBC has more than enough excellent programmes to show to the world rather...
I'm a Chartered Chemical Engineer. Sadly, I decided I wanted to be a chemical engineer when I was 10 years old and so all my efforts at school were directed towards that aim. I enjoy it very much, not sure what else I would do if I wasn't an engineer.
Oh heck... I've just been on a book binge on that well known online book retailer... darn my internet connection. Here's what I bought:
The Woman In Black By Susan Hill
Ordinary Thunderstorms By William Boyd
One Day By David Nicholls
The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo By Stieg Larson

By now you will know that I have a love of the traditional English country house murder. You know the sort, a full cast of likely perpetrators with a nosey old lady and at least one retired Major thrown in. Road Hill House was a real family home and there was a real murder committed there in...
Thanks for the PM. I had seen that link and hadn't noticed it was an original, I though it was someone being cheeky with a POD! *gets out credit card*
Thats rather mean spirited isn't it?
Thanks for the help!
Has anyone ever bought one of these?
There is a book I'd like and it is out of "normal print" and I can't get a second hand copy, but it is available in the US as print on demand. Even with the postage to the UK it's only about £8, so I might take the risk and get it. I just wondered what...
Blimey, not sure how to follow that...
I'm in Paris about to commit suicide by throwing myself under a metro train.
