Firstly, let me say this I love to be reviewed by readers , any form of critique is good as far as I am concerned, also I have a very thick skin, so whatever a reader thinks goes as far as the reader wants, but every I ask a reader or even a friend to review my ebooks, their eyes glaze over...
The great question, so often asked, here is my take on it, I write poetry, its niche at best, and in my case for those that read , an acquired taste, would I change , would I spend my day's writing affirmations, or haiku's no would be answer , not that there is anything wrong with it , but its...
Autumn
The sign's are there
The wet road littered with leaves
Like life strewn with , what might have been
Autumn or the fall as our American cousins say
Has that sense of foreboding, like a stay of execution
Before winters decay
Forty eight autumns have come and gone
The laughter lines are...
being Invisible
I sit and watch the world pass
Wrapped up against the elements
A door way for a home
Against the world alone
The heaving rush of busy people
Going faster to their destinations

She sits wondering how it came to this
How life has conspired to make her feel this way

She can not be altered
As she is, is as she was
She turns on her stage...

Should poetry writer pay for their ebooks to be reviewed , my answer is no, because you will never know if your review has been given honestly of is given in hope of future work , or repeat business, be careful , the only review worthwhile is that of a reader who chooses freely to write a...
Slight of hand
She flashes her eye's
She beams a smile
All done to hide the lies
With a magicians skill
The illusion become's reality
She says she give's freely
She never does
She never does
It's a slight of hand
She's the master in command
It's a slight of hand
She has a master plan
Never...
