An underage role model/idol for children and tweens appearing in and performing consistently more sexually charged and "adult" actions strikes a chord with me, among others.
Has anyone read "Wings" by Aprilynne Pike? I quite enjoyed it; it only came out in the Spring, but it has already been greenlit as a movie starring Miley Cyrus.
Thoughts on the movie in general, or it's new controversial star?
I was going to start a new thread about this but I came across this board :)
I was wondering what are some good BBC or overseas shows and how can I get them (preferably not through streaming websites, etc.) Do they release DVDs Stateside of a lot of these shows? Any input would be appreciated!
I'm kind of limited to what I can try to enjoy with my kids, but I really like Michael Scott's Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series, and I just started reading The Fairy Godmother Academy series with my daughter...it's good so far!

Yeah I've read the first three and really liked them all, although I'd like to see Josh and Sophie mature a little bit, they are still so whiney and picky at times.
The first one is becoming a movie, you might like to know.
As we all well know, truth is indeed stranger than fiction, and some great films have been made of great books about some great but WEIRD stuff....so, I wanted to open up a speculation/rumor/news/wish list thread about what great non-fiction could be coming to the big screen soon.

The worst is that if Bella wasn't a complete idiot, she would never be in much danger to begin with....wondering into the woods (where she knows all kinds of weird things happen) with strange men, coming moments away from committing suicide...it's one thing for a man to swoop in and save the...
I am exactly the same way. We read some lame abridged version in grade school that didn't do it for me, then rediscovered it years later. Great story with a great ending.
