Hey, has everyone heard of the new e-reader from Barnes and Noble? I'm toying with the idea of getting one when they come out. Apparently it has the capability to lend books and free connectivity.

I was just wondering if anyone here is into reading series/serialized novels. I'm kind of torn between reading them and giving them a pass. On the one hand I think the author should say what needs to be said at the maximum in a trilogy. I don't want to feel like I have to read/purchase 10 books...

Because I can curl up in bed with a heavy blanket and pillows and a book.

What's your earliest memory of reading? I actually remember a little bit about learning to read. The first word I read was CAT. I remember that readig came easily and naturally for me. I also remember reading Curious George over and over again because we couldn't afford new books.
