You can always self publish. HOWEVER, you need to make sure your grammar is near perfect. I don't say perfect because even top notch publishers mess up. I have yet to read a book that didn't contain at least one error. But if your blurb is rife with errors, most people will pass.

Once it's not enrolled on KDP, you can adjust the price on a different publisher website. If enough people submit "price change" on Amazon, they will change the price for you. You just have to get a bunch of people to do it. Amazon will NOT make your book free if you are an Indie author.
