makes the first move? I was just wondering and I'm not talking about for sex or a meaningless fling. I'm saying if you're friends/acquaintances with the guy you recently met, and you can tell he's attracted to you and you'd like to pursue a real relationship. I've always heard the man would MUCH...
I'd say Invisible Man, The Crucible, Lolita, A Walk Across America (we read it in school and it was a fantastic true story.), Of Mice and Men, To Kill a Mocking Bird...Gosh, I'd have to think some more, but these are some of my favorites.
I always try to find the hardback for my absolute favorite books. It may sound silly, but if I love a book, I tell myself: "I have to find the hardback edition!!" :p :) :p :)
OH, do I ever have a GREAT...I mean OUTSTANDING Holocaust memoir for you!!!! I read alot of books on the subject myself. You HAVE to get "Thanks to My Mother" by Schoschana Rabinovici. It's a major page-turner!!!

I'm trying to come up with a title for the novel I'm writing, but I guess I'll worry about that when...
MY FAVORITE is "Christine". I liked "Thinner" and "Carrie" too.
HATED "The Dark Half"--at least I THINK that's what it was called. Got it for Christmas years ago and couldn't get a third of the way through it. BORING!!
JMO. I'm not a fan of scary books...or scary ANYTHING really. :)
Thanks for the warm welcome SFG75!! :)
Stewart, I found your thread about spamming. I can understand your feelings now. I like how you posted that link to the common self-promotion mistakes. I read through the list and actually found it to have some helpful hints. It is so hard to...
No, I'm here to stay. I posted a thread over in Non Fiction. (What's your...) Actually, I've been looking for some good book forums. But hey...I published a book!! OF COURSE I figured I'd announce it!! Dag...this is afterall a forum about books!! I also read the rules of the board and it...
