How many books do you have on your E-reader?

I have two ereaders, one is a Kindle, with about 70 collections - not all are by author though, some are done by topic. I just added another 40? or so novels, over 6 authors. I also have a generic e-reader that is 2GB with a 4GB sd card - I'm not going to try and count those. I'll delete them if...

    Which e-reader do you own?

I have a Laser Eb-101 (bought to see if I would *use* an e-reader) and the Kindle keyboard. The Laser reads what the Kindle doesn't, is color, and is backlit so you don't need the light on - great for when my daughter is staying and wants to read from it. It also has a 4GB card in it, so I use...

    looking for a romance book

I was trying to find this particular book the other day, and I couldn't find it on the shelf. I could have sworn it was a Lavyrle Spencer one, but after reading the back covers, I couldn't find it. :s It had a woman, and her grown up daughter, who are starting a bed and breakfast type place...

Yes, the first one. I couldn't figure out how to edit the original post (if you can after this long) and thank you. This book has been driving me up the wall for years and I've spent countless hours in the op shops and 2nd hand book stores trying to find it.

Looking for the titles of two books

egads. I'd rather pay for the 3.95 one from Ebay with 4.50 postage. But I like second hand books better..I don't get so paranoid about bending them :D

Looking for the titles of two books

it was a fluke. I just entered the search term on a whim. It didn't work for the other one :( The good thing is, Ebay has two in a store. One is part of a three novel compilation. Both are the same price though. I am still trying to decide which particular one to get. I have this idea that...

Looking for the titles of two books

Here is the bigger blurb on this particular book - linky to an excellent description The other one, I'm sad to say, wasn't Midnight Warrior by Iris Johansen. Though the names are very familiar, there was no magic in the one I recall. But, we're getting there!

Looking for the titles of two books

I never saw the title :( Otherwise I might have had half a chance of remembering it - but it sure is good to know that I didn't imagine the whole thing! Same goes for what catagory it might have come under. I assumed it was romance, coz of the man getting the lady and 'living happily ever after'...

Looking for the titles of two books

that certainly sounds like the same one. Though movies and books aren't all that much alike. The womans husband died from bee stings in the orchard and that is why she was deathly afraid of the new fella working with the bees. the Raggedy Man itself doesn't ring a bell. One being that I seem...

Looking for the titles of two books

bit more info Thanks for that. I might have found the first one (Midnight Warrior - Iris Johansen) The leading mans name sounds vaguely familiar. I will need to hunt down the book and take a peek. The second one was 'new' in the early 1990's. No later than 95, coz the person who gave it...

    Patricia Cornwell

I read Blowfly [or Trace, can't recall now] at my sisters last year, and I don't think I'll be buying either of them myself in the near future. The Last 'good' one IMO was Black Notice and even that was showing the signs of her writing going down hill.

Looking for the titles of two books

The first one was a historical romance. It was set around 1066 in England. I remember the first part when the invading army attacked a convent. Inside was a woman who had sought refuge from the war, but wasn't a nun. She was sewing a wimple when the fellas crashed though her door. The head man...
