I am wondering. Do most people here read an entire series in order or do you read other books in between volumes?

Well, Left Hand of Darkness was all round great. I then went and tried Crystal Singer and stopped around page 130.. it suffered from the same problem of The Rowan... nothing interesting ever happened! Think I'm gonna try Watership Down next while awaiting new books in the mail..

I am enjoying Left Hand of Darkness a lot right now, so I might indeed try more of her stuff.

What worries me about Prince of Nothing is your mention of his philosphical/religious views throughout his book. As Stranger in a Strange Land has brought to my attention... Nothing ruins a story for me more than when an author uses characters to simply preach his own religious/philosphical...
