Asterix is one of my fave's too. :D
Yes, it's a shame that manga is black-and-white. But because they produce it so much more in Japan, it has to be. They read it there like we newspapers here. Or better, like those free newspapers that we have in railway stations. I think it's just adopted...
I read Enid Blyton-books when I was younger but I never really liked them that much. I was more of a Nancy Drew-girl. But of course my kids can read Enid Blyton if they want.
I really like to read Lovecraft because it scares the hell out of me. But I don't read it too much so that I don't become paranoid. I don't know the english titles for the novels that I have read but there was this one about some odd color that killed people in the farm and I was so scared that...
I always wanted to read Da Vinci-code because everybody were talking about it and it sound interesting. I finally got to read it one day and read about 20 pages when I gave up. I really can't read that kind of books because too much details that don't matter. Argh. But think someone like my mum...
I'm reading The Undomestic Goddess, my first Sophie Kinsella book, and I'm loving it. I love her style to write a humorous book because it's not like some Terry Prachett book that is full of humour in every sentence. Now I want to read all of her books! <3
I would love to read everything straight and I hate when it's impossible. Like Robin Hobb's Tawny Men-trilogy. I just can't read the third book because I can't remember what happened in the second book. That's why I would love to own those books first.
I have very little books that I haven't read yet.
Bergdorf Blondes by Plum Sykes
Decamerone by Boccaccio
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
Random Sherlock Holmes books
An Autobiography of Buffalo Bill by William F. Cody
Random H.P. Lovecraft novels
