What do bookworms do for exercise?

I ride various ponies. =P And I work at a barn. Making buckets, mucking out, cleaning various leather items and tackrooms. Enough to keep me quite svelt, if I do say so myself.

Which writer would you choose as a pal?

Paula Danziger and Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. =) And Meg Cabot. She seems like she'd be a great pal. For serious discussion, Orson Scott Card. J.K. Rowling of course, she's got such a lovely sense of what's "right". Uhm, Nancy Farmer. Haha, so many I can think of.

    Banned books

I know people tried to ban Like Water For Chocolate. I always giggled at that one. And if they're going to ban for the animal reason, why not try to ban Animal Farm? After all, anyone with half a brain can see the symbolism. ;D

    Back from the black lagoooon!

Harlo thar. (I do know how to type and spell correctly. Really. It's just an illusion that I spell things wrong on purpose.) Okay, so I'm not technically new, but I remembered I had an account here and that I haven't posted in almost a year or some such huge number of minutes. I'm back...

Most hated 'classic' novel you've actually read

A Tale Of Two Cities puts me to sleep. I find it hard to believe anyone doesn't love Pride and Prejudice though. :( I am almost done with Jane Eyre though, and find Mr. Rochester to be a twit.
