A good biography of Napoleon

Can anyone suggest a good biography of Napoleon? A political biography, I suppose, but that includes lots of information about his non political life as well.

It's not a biography, but Tolstoy does a job on Napoleon in War and Peace. It gives you the Russian view of this "great" general.

Also, sometimes when I am interested in an individual, I start with Wikipedia. It's a start on what's out there. Also, you might find a Napoleon list in Amazon. Some of the lists there are very good.

Herman Lindqvist is a Swedish journalist who is very conversant with history. If his excellent biography of Napoleon, simply called Napoleon, is translated i strongly recommend it. Sure you could read it if you speak icelandic/norwegian/danish too.
