Book/Pop Culture Conventions? (Preferably in California)

Are there any conventions that focus on sci-fi/fantasy books? Or sci-fi/fantasy stuff in general, and just happen to have hundreds of authors going there and the like?

Preferably based in California.

The dates don't matter. Smile

Any information would be much appreciated!
 
San Diego Comic Con has authors stop in every so often. I only other sci-fi/fantasy convention that comes to mind is DragonCon, although that's based in Georgia.
