Catchy tunes

Don't you hate it when you get a really catchy tune running through you're head, especially when it makes you want to dance... I'll tell you all now, you won't be convincing anyone you're normal if you start dancing to the songs in your head. It's almost as bad as holding a conversation with the voices.

Cos you're filthy Ooooooh and I'm gorgeous... cos you're filthy Oooooh and I'm gorgeous... You're disgusting Oooooh and you're nasty.... You can grab me... Oooh cos you're nasty

doodooodooodooodooodoodoodoodooodooodoododooo

It's even worse when you're in a pub with no music (damn wetherspoons and their stupidly cheap ale) and you spontaneously burst into song. With coordinating dance moves.

You need to displace it with a better song. You're lucky I'm around. Ahem.

I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves
I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves
I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves
And this is how it goes...

I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves
I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves
I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves
And this is how it goes...

Everybody!
I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves
I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves
I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves
And this is how it goes...

Listen to some disney songs or children's shows, those are catchy, and I guess dance-able.

You can't really dance to your song.
You ever seen me dancing? No, really dancing? Dancing Bush has got nothing on me. Michael Flatley is my bitch with two left feet.

I find some music from the Matrix soundtracks can be quite catchy ;)
I get all hyper when I listen to The Matrix soundtracks :p

Ahem

[singing voice]

Do, a deer, a female deer -
Re, a drop of golden sun -
Mi, a name, I call myself -
Fa, a long long way to run -

[/singing voice]

Cheers

What about:

This is the song that never ends,
It just goes on and on my friend.
Somebody starting singing it
not knowing what it was

Now they'll continue singing it forever
just because...

It just goes on and on my friend.

not knowing what it was

I'm with Ruzi - listening to 'It's a small world after all' ruins my day.
I was thinking more along the lines of a loop of endless Hakuna Matata, but the small world song works too I guess.
