Comedy books!!!

Ok, I'm resurrecting this from the dead. I just started reading "The Guide" and only because this summer my kids forced me to see the movie. (Then buy it last week)

I thought the movie was cute, and I wondered what the book was about. So far so good

The only comedy books I've read recently are "Make Love: The Bruce Campbell Way" and "The Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks.

Jennifer Crusie writes incredibly funny romance novels that sometimes have a bit of mystery or thriller elements thrown in to the mix. She's really witty and definitely fulfills your requirements of a funny love story. Welcome to Temptation was my favorite. It was about a pair of sisters who came to the small town of Temptation, Ohio to make a film about an aging actress who wanted to revive her career. One of the sisters becomes involved with the (young, hot) mayor, who had to pass a local anti-porn ordinance because the townspeople are so suspicious of the newcomer sisters. Then someone gets killed and things REALLY heat up. :p

Well I have been reading these Stephanie Plum novels from Janet Evanovich and have absolutely love them :D I started reading them while walking the treadmill and well I had to stop that before I got injured. I am about done with the 8th one and there are 11 a the moment ( she is still writing them).
Here is a link to the first one u can look at and read part of the first chapter if interested. HERE
