Deadwood

Deadwood is another HBO series I've been hearing good things about. Haven't seen a single episode, though.

Has anyone seen enough of this to form an opinion about it? Any good?

It's surpassed The Sopranos as my favorite show on HBO. Ian McShane's character, Al Swearengen is the most compelling character I've ever seen in a tv show. Filled with the political machinations of turning a mining community into a incorporated city, it's a great show with a tremendous cast. A word of warning, if you are offended by foul language/cursing, then this is not the show for you.

Any other opinions?
 
I enjoyed some of the first year but quickly tired of Deadwood. IMHO it sucks compared to the Sopranos.
