edge of my seat thriller?

I read "The Red Fox" several years ago and loved it.

I'm looking for another book like it.

I want something really edgy but not wierd and not horror..

any recommendations?

I'm not looking for Clancy type of stuff nor am I looking for Bourne action either, just something kind of shadows lurking in the background, etc..

A good spy book, not filled with action but great suspense I think. Which might be similar to The Red Fox, is The Spies Of Warsaw by Alan Furst.
