Fiction with flying

As in, people flying and learning to fly - not the airplane, or airship, broomstick, type of flying but people able to fly be it through magic, psychic power, unknown skill - whatever.

Help me find some reads that have this.

Some hard sci-fi has people "flying" in low gee environments.

This may not be what you're looking for, but the Age of the Five series by Trudi Canavan involves flying.

Age group - Teen and Adult.

I guess if the character has wings that would be ok.

Although, I'd like to see how someone would describe the physical exertion and concentration to get a human to fly -since they are obviously not built to fly.

well in the keys to the kingdom books,the main char arthur sometimes has wings,because the books are set in a bit of haywire world that he oesnt understand,and there are attachable wings in it,so sometimes he gets a pair and flies
