First impressions not always correct?

Interesting thread Martin!

I tend to re-read books. The only books that I find, upon re-reading them, that I haven not like are the ones that I read many years ago. I have changed, and my tastes have changed a lot over the years so it's understandable.

I think in your case it's a simple question of mood. I find that I have to be in a certain mood/frame of mind for games/books/movies and that really alters how I enjoy them.

Duffy, have you seen the musical/heard the sountrack? I found I actually enjoyed it more the second time around after having seen the musical.

Nope, haven't seen it though I have heard of it. I suppose if the show should ever travel then I will see it when it comes to my city. I actually really want to see the play, but I just could not get more than halfway through the book.
